All I can say about my work is that it found me.
I am simply at the receiving end, trying to perceive the beauty around me.

Radim Hamrosi, known also as Hamry.
I began my career as a bartender but I am also a poet, lyricist and slammer. As a bartender I took part in a few successful projects such as the Blue Mouse Bar (Bar Modrá myš) and Lounge Bohemia Prague. At the moment I am part of the team that has launched the Bumbum Comedy club.
Bars and mixed drinks have been my passion and life path for over 30 years. Two out of these three decades have been spent proudly representing modern alchemy in mixed drinks. Cocktails are not just a skill, but a mission that I fulfilled on all levels of my profession.
I deepened my knowledge about the world of cocktails, learned more and more and dove into this fascinating area…
However, I also kept developing my writing skills and put aside poems which I would like to unearth. Now is the right time to devote time to my other passion – poetry.
At the moment I am working towards publishing my second book, “Halftime” (Poločas). It is going to be part of a musical project on which I participate with various performers from Ostrava. Good drinks and good music intersect when we meet.
I am entering the next phase of my creative path and I am looking forward to sharing my passion and artistic endeavours with the world.
